I was born and raised in Cartersville, GA and began playing golf at the age of 8.  By 12, I had a full blown obsession with golf.  I was eating, sleeping, and breathing golf – all while being forced to still attend school.

I played collegiate golf at Clayton State University and Reinhardt University.  While at Reinhardt, I set the school record for lowest round in a tournament, won four individual titles, and helped win the team conference championship my Junior year.  By winning the conference championship we were automatically qualified for the NAIA National Championship at TPC Deere Run (home of the PGA Tour’s John Deere Classic).

After graduating with a degree in Graphic Design, I immediately turned pro and began working as the Assistant Professional at West Pines Golf Club.  After a couple of years at West Pines I became the Head Professional and went on to receive my PGA membership.

In 2016 I received the Georgia PGA’s Bill Strausbaugh award.  I am humbled and honored to have received this award, largely in part for my participation in the Georgia PGA Foundation’s “Smiling Fore Life” program at Children’s Scottish Rite Hospital.  This program gives children at the hospital a chance to get out of their rooms and learn about the game of golf.  This program is near and dear to my heart because of the time that I spent at Children’s Scottish Rite.
